Profile: Juliana Sorrentino Mazochi (Brazil)

Photo Juliana Mazochi - 2My name is Juliana Sorrentino Mazochi. I am 26 years old. I am Brazilian with Italian citizenship. Therefore, I am a native speaker of Portuguese. Moreover, I speak English fluently, and an intermediary level of Spanish and French.

Most part of my professional life is related to music. I study music (opera singing) since I was 14 years old. As it has been always a passion, I went to the music university after my previous studies in a conservatory. I stayed there for 4 years until receive my bachelor diploma. In Brazil, I use to work performing in operas, concerts and mainly in weddings. However, as it is a difficult market to work in, I started my studies in business 3 years ago. I continue working and studying music, but my professional priority now is the business market.

At the moment, I am in the middle of my second graduation in Brazil (business) and I applied to study 1 semester of it in Ireland, as I always wanted to have the exchange program experience. For a happy accident, I was sent to Paris. And instead of attending the bachelor program for 6 months, I am studying in the MBA program for 1 year.

I do not know too much about my future now, as this unique experience is making me learn much more about myself and be more open-minded. However, I can ensure that I see myself continuing playing both roles (both careers) and probably bringing innovation and a better life conditions for people. I already do it in a cultural way with music and now I intend to keep this objective performing in the business field.
